My photography journey

My Journey

I have been drawn to capturing the beauty of our planet through photography since I was 15 with my first digital camera. My travels to Europe when I was 22 inspired me to capture all the beautiful landscapes and cities I was exploring and I have been hooked on travel photography ever since. During the 2020 pandemic, I began birding in my neighbourhood for the first time, using photography mostly to help me with bird ID. I quickly found of love of capturing wildlife in their ecosystems, and have since focused my photography practice mainly on wild birds. I love to use photography as a tool to engage people with learning about ecology and conservation, and show the beauty that exists in our world, when we take the time to look.
